Meditate on this one...

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

My Profession

I love teaching because it's non stop learning for me.  How ironic is that?

OMG, it's been THAT LONG!  I'm here typing from my parent's house in Jersey.  I was here over a month.  It was good to be home, so good, and so long that I feel like I live here and I'm not on vacation!  I would definitely say that my weekend trip with the girls to Miami definitely topped off my trip.  My only girl trip I've been on!

My only regret, I didn't check out the universities and elementary schools in NY like I was supposed to.  I'm planning on moving back here June 09.  I want to take my masters (don't know yet-elementary or maybe even administration!) and teach at the same time.  Not sure yet about Fellowship program but at the least will look into scholarships!  I'm thinking when I'm in my early 40's (shyieeet with the way time flies that's right around the corner!) I can swich gears and become a principal.  A LOTTA WORK but a CRAP LOAD OF MONEY!

I'll be home again the 1st week of October to go to Hank and Mad's wedding!  YAY!  This is the wedding that i've BEEN waiting for.   It's about time!

Anyway, it was good seeing those of you that I saw!  Kisses to beautiful Lucas and my beautiful God daughter Stellina!  And Congrats Ray and Melinda on your new baby boy!  I'm sure I'll see him in Oct?

Hawai'i and my Mazda 3 I'm coming home...

PS...You planning on a trip to HI?  Well you fricken better come soon before me and Carol both leave next year!  I'm sure I'll see a lot of you in May for Gill and Joy's wedding!!!

What's the 411

Okay updates for you who still exist here on Xanga:

  • Feb 18th-I ran and finished the Great Aloha Run- 8 mi. 1 hr. and 53 minutes
  • Feb 19th-afternoon I was puking my brains out and had to go to the ER-I was dehydrated-LMAO
  • Called out sick 20th-22nd-That was nice.
  • Beginning of March-pops was in the hospital-he's okay-just had us scared
  • Because of what happened I decided last minute to take a trip back home -next week-I'll only be home for 10 days but my main focus is to spend time with my dad and family (He is fine-so don't worry)
  • I am back with my boyfriend Danny.  Things are better with us and I'm happy with him.  I'll try to post pictures up if I ever get tech savvy!
  • Update with my walk with God-Can't explain why but it's like my switch is off right now.  I'm not feeling guilty, I'm still trying my best to keep Him 1st and to have faith that things will turn around.
  • March 13, 2008-I have no regrets of doing the run, despite my hospital ordeal.  I'm proud that I did it and finished it! Matter of fact, the whole dehydration thing was a blessing in disguise.  I have been on a roll with drinking more water and less Pepsi!  I lost 3 pounds by wiping out a lot of my soda intake!
